The Nitrogen accumulator system “WashTronic”, built as standard on every SunBrush, enables the contact pressure to be set between the brush and the panels; resulting in a consistent clean across the whole site. WashTronic also counteracts any uneven ground surface, whether a bump or dip, ensuring a damage free clean.
Every SunBrush is built with a fully integrated wet cleaning system, controlled via the joystick. A full set of nozzles runs up each side of the brush, enabling double or single sided spraying.
The flow rate is adjustable on the hydraulic or PTO water pump, enabling the water usage to be adjusted depending on water availability or soiling severity.
Dry cleaning is a cost-effective and resource saving cleaning method. The spiral shaped brushes work effectively yet gently on the surface.
A research team at the University of Ulm in Germany carried out 1000 cleaning cycles on a set panels. They found no impairment of the panel surface and no decrease in module performance was detected.
The SunBrush folds into transport position around the right hand side of the carrier vehicle. The brush is then fixed into place using two mounting bars, which enables the weight of the brush to be taken off the pins/bushes, lengthening the lifespan of the machine.
