D-Solar Defendor is a hydrophobic coating that will repel water and dirt from your modules, making cleaning easier.

Quickly removes water from the solar panel, promoting its self-cleaning.

D-Solar Defendor is a concentrated product that when diluted in water creates an hydrophobic (water repellent)coating for solar panels, and also provides antistatic properties to the solar glass, thus reducing dust adhesion, keeping it cleaner between cleanings, increasing the efficiency of the next wash as well as increasing irradiance on rainy days, producing up to 5% more energy.

The hydrophobic coating on the D-Solar Defendor was designed to be applied in specific climates (sometimes extreme rain, sometimes extreme drought) with a robot or brush tractor, and on solar panels that are not heavily soiled.

The coating lasts up to 1 year, however ChemiTek recommends applying the product twice a year when there is more soiling.

This product is fully tested and certified by the international laboratory TÜV Sud.

Do solar photovoltaic panels need to be cleaned?

The surface of photovoltaic solar panels must be clean in order to ensure full operation and maximum efficiency.
